Robert's notes of December 20th attack by German fighters
These notes were probably written sometime between Robert's liberation and his arrival back in the USA. Five of the enemy fighters were shot down and one more was possibly damaged.

I'm open to suggestions as to what this drawing shows. My assumption is that it shows the position their airplane was flying in the formation. The circles might indicate which bombers were shot down to Robert's knowledge. Records show that the 390th lost three bombers on this mission.
